Hidden in the serene south of Mykonos, in the private Costa Ilios resort, this small retreat is a gem where simplicity meets elegance. Designed with minimal, locally inspired interiors—whitewashed walls, soft natural textures, and handcrafted details—it offers a sense of calm that feels both refined and deeply authentic. Step onto the balcony and the world seems to pause: the endless blue of the Aegean stretches before you, shimmering in the sunlight. Set within a private resort, this little haven captures the essence of Mykonos—quiet luxury, effortless beauty, and the kind of view that stays with you long after you’ve left.

HOW TO GET AROUND

  • Rent a car. By far the most comfortable and safiest way to get around the island. For exploring all the different beaches or for your night out at Mykonos town, the best way to do it is with your own car. There are plenty of private parkings at every beach and at the perimeter of the city so you can park it, as well as a big public parking at the old port (5 min. walk from the center). The cost varies. It is better to pre-book it online and collect it from the airport or ask them to bring it to you at the resort. The resort also offers a free parking outside the gates so you can park your car. Please keep in mind that none vehicle is allowed in the resort.

  • Rent a scooter. It is fun, it is fast and convenient. You can find a company online to reserve your scooter, then ask them to bring it at the resort. Please note that, while this type of vehicle is easy to park, sometimes the conditions (strong winds, steep hills and other drivers) make it less safe than other choices.

  • Taxis. Taxi service on the island is upon availability the time that you request it. You CANNOT pre-book a taxi. The moment you are ready to use it, you will call the center and ask for a taxi service. The call center number is: 0030 22890 22400. Costs vary depending the destination and the time.

  • Private transfers. There are plenty of companies that you can find online. This service can be pre-booked and we reccommend it especially for your drive to/from the airport/port. It is also very convenient for your town visit as parking can be a bit difficult during the summer months. Costs vary depending the destination and the time.

  • Public bus. There is a public station about 500 meters walk from the resort. This bus takes you to the center of the town and the you can take another bus to go to another area. All buses end up at the town center. It is by far the a budget option that may be a bit slow but also a bit fun! The service operates from 08:00 to 02:00.
